Shuai Zhou to take postdoctoral position at Cornell University

Shuai Zhou, a Ph.D. candidate in Rural Sociology and Demography (dual title) under the supervision of Dr. Guangqing Chi, will be pursuing his postdoctoral training at Cornell University starting August 1, 2023.

Zhou will collaborate with Chuan Liao, an assistant professor in the Department of Global Development at Cornell on two projects: the first project entails the synthesis of data from various sources to advance the circular bionutrient economy in support of sustainability; the second project aims to explore the pathways through which environmental change, specifically forest loss, could impact human health outcomes globally. Moreover, Zhou will continue his ongoing research on environment-induced migration study and environmental health research.
