Yining Feng Awarded $4,000 C-SoDA Seed Grant for Big-Data Research

Yining Feng has received a $4,000 seed grant from the Center for Social Data Analytics (C-SoDA) under the mentorship of Dr. Guangqing Chi. The grant supports her project, "Post-Hurricane Katrina Return Migration Decision-Making: A Big-Data Analytical Approach with Infutor Data,” set to run from January 1 to December 31, 2024. This project focuses on analyzing the decision-making processes of individuals impacted by Hurricane Katrina, utilizing advanced big data techniques to unravel the complexities in migration decisions post-disaster.
